TSW 2025 – Safe The Date
The Weihenstephan Technology Seminar will take place from 10 to 12 March 2025 at the TUM Weihenstephan campus. Under the motto “Science for Practice”, the seminar offers an important platform for exchange between research and industry. Hosted by VBW Asset Trade Weihenstephan and organised by the Chair of Brewing and Beverage Technology (BGT) under the direction of Prof. Thomas Becker, the event is aimed at breweries & malt houses, their supplier industry, breeders & agronomists as well as scientists & students.
TSW 2025 will kick off on 10 March 2025 with the 21st Raw Materials Seminar, which will focus on the central raw materials of the brewing industry – barley, hops and water. After the presentation of the “Berlin Programme”, the day will end in a relaxed atmosphere in the Bräustüberl of the Weihenstephan State Brewery. The 57th Technology & Engineering Seminar will follow on 11 and 12 March 2025. The focus here will be on brewing technology topics as well as process technology, automation and quality assurance. The practice-orientated presentations and discussions offer valuable insights and impetus for the further development of the brewery’s own processes. In addition to the interesting technical presentations and discussions, there will also be plenty of time for networking in a cosy atmosphere.
Information on registration and the detailed programme will be available on this website shortly. In order to cater for the individual interests of participants, it will again be possible to book individual seminar days this year. There is a discounted flat rate for guests attending the entire TSW2025. Due to the limited number of participants, early registration is recommended.
We look forward to welcoming you to Weihenstephan in March 2025, when the motto will once again be: Science for practice!
