As part of the “Distillery Technology” lecture from the Chair of Brewing and Beverage Technology, we took our participating students on a field trip to the Stiftungsbrennerei at Hofgut Freiham near Munich. Here, our students from the fields of brewing, beverage, and food technology, as well as our trainees from the Chair, had the opportunity to gain insights into the crafts of cooperage and distillation.
